My husband David bought me Julia Cameron's "Right to Write" book for Christmas. I am so excited to finally get started on it. I have participated in a group of ladies who went through her "Artist Way" book, twice now. It was a life changing experience for me both times.
I love to write. I've always done it. My favorite Christmas gift as a little girl was a typewriter. I would sit for hours upon hours typing on notebook paper, (because it was cheaper than real typing paper), writing stories, articles, and poems. The ribbon finally ran out and couldn't be replaced. :<( LOL!
I really doubt I ever write anything of any interest to anyone or that I'll ever even share what I write but it's fun to do and therapeutic for me.
So, I am starting this blog as I go through this book. At the end of each chapter she has little exercises she calls "initiation tools". Those will probably be mostly what I post. Maybe some other things too. I'm not sure.
If you're privileged enough to have been shown this blog then you have to know you are extremely important to me. Thanks for being there and encouraging me.
